About the Event
Come hear what Mark & Susana Bev Donahue have to tell us!
The following is their biographical write-up from the World Gospel Mission website:
God began to prepare us for ministry and open our eyes to His big world as children. Mark was taught to memorize scripture and started to learn to play music as a fifth grader. His world was enlarged when his widowed mother and he journeyed to Papua New Guinea during his eighth-grade year.
Susana Bev and her family attended a church that taught the Word and frequently had guest missionary speakers. At 9 years old, she began to play the piano. Both of us asked Jesus into our heart as children.
Through various leadings, Susana Bev found herself headed to Bolivia as a single missionary in 1991. After serving almost four years as a single missionary, she returned to the States to marry Mark, her friend of 16 years. In 1998, we were in Costa Rica for language study, and, to our surprise, Andrés made his entrance into the world three weeks early. As a family, we served in Bolivia for six years before being called to fill in for a year in Asunción, Paraguay. That one year has turned into many years of seeking to further God´s kingdom through sharing God´s love with Paraguayans.
Today, we believe there are two things that are very powerful in this world: God´s Word and music. Whether it is sharing one-on-one, serving the body of Christ, having Bible studies, or participating in board leadership for Asunción Christian Academy, we find that the Word and music guide us, help us to connect with others, and are the greatest resources for us in the ministry God has given us.
